Easter Egg DIY

Even though "spring has sprung," it never feels like it until Easter comes! (Especially in Vancouver here, where it rains way too much.) We love Easter decorations - the pastel colors, cheerful flowers, cute bunnies, chocolate eggs (STOCK UP!) and of course, decorating eggs!

Skip the traditional dyed eggs. We've whipped up some easy Easter egg ideas and DIYs to create pretty Easter decor below you'll never want to throw away and totally want to Instagram

MATERIALS USED:

- Hard boiled eggs
- Painter's tape
- Spray paint
- Temporary tattoos (we used SnapTats)
- Baker's string, twine, hemp or thin ribbon
- Nail polish (try metallics, glitter, pastels and white)

We love gold - #allgoldeverything, right? So naturally, we spray painted eggs with gold. Try painting solids, ombre and patterns using painter's tape, or even cutouts of bunnies, hearts, you name it!

Our ultimate favorite eggs are the ones we decorated with SnapTats. Honestly the easiest, and quickest way to fancy up your egg... and how amazing are those patterns?! Obsessed.

Nail polish is the best kind of "paint" you've got - you already have tons of it at home, and it comes with its own brush! Paint your egg with polka dots, feathered strokes, ombre shades and add some glitter!
